The Golf Club Fitting App That Grades Your Whole Bag with AI

You've never actually known if your clubs fit you. Now you can — in under five minutes, from your couch, for free.

Here's the uncomfortable truth most golfers live with: you spent $2,000+ on your bag, and you have no idea whether a single club in it actually fits your swing. The driver might be too heavy. The 7-iron shaft might be robbing you of distance. Your wedges might have a gapping problem you've never noticed. A proper fitting would tell you — but that's a $500 appointment, a launch monitor bay, and half a day you don't have.

So today we're launching something we built to fix exactly that. FitMyGolfClubs is now on the App Store — and it grades every club in your bag across the same fitting factors a professional would check, using AI, without a launch monitor, an appointment, or a fee to get started.

What it actually does

You tell the app what's in your bag — we've got 10,000+ clubs and shafts in the database, so it's mostly tapping, not typing. Then our patent-pending grading algorithm analyzes your set across 8 professional fitting factors:

  • Loft gapping
  • Weight progression
  • Club age
  • Length progression
  • Lie angle
  • Kickpoint consistency
  • Shaft flex
  • Shaft torque

You get an overall letter grade (A–F) with a confidence rating, and — this is the part golfers tell us they love — an explanation of exactly why you got that grade, with specific point deductions traced back to individual clubs. Not "your bag is a B." Instead: "your bag is a B, and here's the club dragging it down, and here's why."

"But I don't have a launch monitor"

You don't need one. This is the thing that makes it different: we analyze club specifications, not ball flight. A launch monitor measures what happens after you swing. We check whether the equipment in your hands is built for a golfer like you in the first place — the setup issues an experienced fitter would spot from the specs alone, before you ever hit a ball. All 13 clubs, every factor, from your specs — and your bag stays on file, so the analysis evolves every time you change something.

That means you can do it tonight, on your phone, with the clubs already in your garage. No range time. No appointment. No waiting for a bay to open up. And if you do have swing numbers, you can put them to work testing club changes head-to-head — but you never need them just to grade your bag.

Why we think fit matters more than you'd guess

Most golfers obsess over flex — stiff vs. regular — and ignore the factor that matters more: shaft weight. Or they never notice that their irons don't progress in weight the way they should. Or that their lofts are gapped so unevenly two clubs go the same distance. These aren't exotic problems. They're everywhere, and they quietly cost strokes.

If you want to go deeper on any of it, these are the guides golfers read most before they grade their bag:

The app does automatically, for your whole bag at once, what those guides teach you to check one factor at a time.

What it costs

Nothing to start: 5 free credits, no credit card. Grade your bag, see your factors, get your fix — free. If you want to keep grading (new clubs, re-checks, testing changes), the Annual plan is $49/year for 50 credits — and unused credits roll over while you're a member, so you never lose what you've paid for. That's less than a tenth of one in-person fitting.

Grade your bag tonight

You're one setup away from finally knowing whether your clubs fit — and which ones don't.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a launch monitor to use FitMyGolfClubs?
No. FitMyGolfClubs analyzes your club specifications — shaft, weight, flex, loft, lie, and more — not your ball flight. You grade your bag from your phone with the clubs you already own.

Is it really free?
Yes — you get 5 credits free with no credit card required. That's enough to grade your bag and see your full results. The Annual plan ($49/year, 50 credits) is optional, for ongoing grading and re-checks.

How is this different from a professional fitting?
A pro fitting measures ball flight on a launch monitor and costs around $500. FitMyGolfClubs checks whether your equipment is specced correctly for you — the setup issues a fitter spots from the specs — in minutes, for free. Many golfers use it to decide whether an in-person fitting is even worth booking.

What clubs are in the database?
Over 10,000 clubs and shafts, so entering your bag is mostly tapping, not typing.

What do I get?
An overall A–F grade with a confidence rating, a breakdown across 8 fitting factors, and specific point deductions traced to the individual clubs holding your bag back.
